Through the migration of the population of the old Roman city of Celtic origin, Concordia Julia Nertobriga were created on three near situated mountains the present ones with "Cumbres", Sharpen, places named. The smallest, Cumbres de Enmedio, hardly has over 60 inhabitants, that itself he country, forest, and livestock economy dedicates. Cumbres de San Bartolomé is a little bigger; its 700 inhabitants also work in the country and livestock economy. The highest population has Cumbres Mayores, a fast city with big culture heritage.
